Day of Honor

The Independence is hosting a celebration of Klingon heritage with food, music, games, and fun! 51 years ago on March 16, 1967, Star Trek: The Original Series episode Errand of Mercy aired and introduced the Klingons to the galaxy. We are celebrating this by hosting a DAY OF HONOR to commemorate this historic event in science fiction history! There will be Klingon food, songs, games, and tales of glorious battles! Klingons from all over the area will be in attendance for this honorable event.

We are welcoming the public to attend and join us in celebrating Klingon culture and history. It is a family-friendly event that is free of charge.

Festivities to be announced soon!

Saturday, March 3, 2018 - 5-9 p.m. (may run later for those who wish to stick around)
