SHPP Donation Link
Since 2018 NCC-75029 USS Independence has partnered with local non-profit Sacramento Homeless Period Project (SHPP). SHPP distributes personal hygiene packs to our friends and neighbors because these products are expensive and can mean the difference between missing several days of school or work for those who cannot afford them. The hygiene supply packs are being distributed at school district nutrition services during the COVID quarantine. So with SHPP we are reaching more students and their family members than before.
